DAY 6

Comme des Garçons house always has this theatrical and extravagant sense at its collections. This season for the Comme des Garçons Comme des Garçons show the brand presented total black outfits with special details. Oversized printed coats, lace dresses combined with button up shirts, jumpsuits, cropped jackets, loose pants. On the other hand, Kenzo played with the science of physics and specifically with reflections. In the most amazing scenery the designer presented oversized rain coats combined with high waisted trousers, total printed jumpsuits, classic silk tuxedos, capes, mini skirts, bomber jackets and airy dresses. We are in love with the floral details on leggings combined with croco ankle boots.

DAY 5

The first thing we noticed on the Haicker Ackerman runway was probably the gloves -which seem to make a huge comeback-. Other than that his show was an ode to every print possible, from dotted leopard to the variations between chekered and tweed. We definetely loved the heavy looking dark outwear mixed with airy details, like the scarves, which created the most beautiful and contadictory canvas for his prints of choice. David Koma took his own turn to the new age bodycon dress at the Mugler show. With simple lines, beautiful cuts and leather details the collections was based on simple minimalism with hints that accented the female figure beautifully.

DAY 4

Day 4 started with Loewe's fashion show. Maxi airy dresses combined with high waisted trousers, metallic maxi or geometrical printed mini skirts, loose wool cardigans, oversized coats and leather jackets combined with those amazing huge sunglasses and the colorful leather bags. But let's move on to the dark side; Maiyet collection played along the black,blue and white palette. Maxi dresses, total leather or silk outfits, jumpsuits, deep V jackets, oversized tops combined with crop trousers and geometrical prints were the main pieces of the collection.

DAY 3

At Roland Mouret show was saw simple and classic lines. Cropped jackets and capes, geometrical printed coats combined with ankle boots, dresses with transparency details, leather jackets and skirts combined with crop tops and total black jumpsuits. On the other hand, at Carven's fashion show we saw flowery printed dresses, bomber jackets, mini skirts combined with sweaters, high waisted trousers with crop tops and cropped coats. We were in love with the socks detail.

DAY 2

Keep it simple. If you want to put a title to the next to shows that's the perfect one. What we saw at Lamaire's collection was amazing capes, oversized coats combined with high waisted trousers, deep V airy dresses, jumpsuits and light sweaters with transparency effect. Let's go to to Cédric Charlier. Simplicity on the top. Mini skirts, furs, bomber jackets combined with high waisted trousers, total plastic-leather outfits, shinny dresses with geometrical prints and sweaters in green, purple and nude colors.

DAY 1

Anthony Vaccarello presented his latest collection and black was the king that night at Paris. Metallic details at belts, stars, leather shirts, mini skirts, lace dresses, suede jackets and wool sweaters were some of the main pieces of the collection. Let's go to another presentation. Jacquemus presented probably the most weird but the same time artistic collection. Geometrical prints on skirts and dresses, cropped tops, high waisted skirts and oversized coats and sweaters were the pieces that we loved!

This past month has been a blast! But before we finish off we shouldn't forget the glorious Paris Fashion Week that comes last.

Chanel & Valentino

Chanel always wants to release things that are prototype. This season Karl decided to transform the catwalk into a protest. As for the clothes: oversized knit jackets, printed skirts, maxi coats, colorful outfits, high waisted trousers, suede suits, flowers, strips, metallics, belts and leather details. On the other hand, Valentino's latest collection change the changed the image we had for this house. Ethnic and tribal prints, maxi coats, mini or maxi dresses and capes combined with the outfits. Apart from the "noise" of the prints, the house presented minimal mini dresses, sweaters and skirts in pastel and nude colors. My favorite pieces of the show were the classic airy see-through dresses with the printed hems. Excellent work from both houses.

Stella McCartney & Giambattista Valli

Minimal and feminine; Stella McCartney's collection was all about aesthetic. Airy, printed dresses, oversized blouses combined with skirts, jumpsuits, light spring coats were some of the main pieces of her spring collection. Printed jumpsuits with beautiful details, mini dresses or maxi with feather details, crop tops and classy coats.

Kenzo & Céline

Oversized denim skirts and jackets, total white jumpsuits, cardigans and sweaters. Printed tops combined with skirts and black and white suits were presented by Kenzo for spring-summer 2015. And here comes the time were you are in love with Céline spring collection. Yellow skirts combined with black jackets, color blocking coats, printed dresses, flowers for details, sleeveless dresses and jumpsuits.

Probably the most beautiful cuts in the PFW. Mugler presented for this season classy suits, sporty dresses, jumpsuits, high waisted colorful skirts combined with what else, crop tops and sleeveless oversized coats. On the other hand Ackermann's collection had fabrics more airy as satin and see-through. Nice nude satin suits, PVC leggings, maxi dresses and beautiful tops and blouses. 

Maison Martin Margiela & Anrealage

Martin Margiela came out with this amazing wet look on her models. If you start with this hairstyle, the collection cannot be bad. For this season, the house chose to present, A line minimal dresses, high-waisted skirts, sleeveless see-through tops and total mixed printed outfits. On the other hand, Anrealage collection was more classy and 60's. Belted dresses and coats with 60's cuts and beautiful prints, crop jackets combined with mindy skirts and see-through oversized jackets as tops to complete the outfits.

The most romantic week is here. Of course we are talking about the last but not least Paris fashion week. We will be covering and this week as we did with the previous ones!

Roland Mouret & Carven

Roland Mouret collection for this spring desirable. Simple lines for all the outfits, nice color blocking  combinations for the outfits and the bags. Also prints on dresses completed the collection. The fabrics and the materials were picked carefully. Carven collection was more sporty. Oversized leather coats, nice dresses with crock belt, printed dresses and those amazing huge bags!

The first words that come to your mind when you talk about Paris Haute Couture Week are sparkle, unique fabrics and techniques, and generally some seriously intriguing fashion trends. This week had everything, great presentations, photographers and a hot ront row cast ready to discuss about everything! Instagram, for sure, was on fire, from Anna Dello Russo to Ricardo Tisci and from Derek Blasberg to Harry Brant.  Paris Haute Couture will never disappoint you and this year for sure we had a few controversial feelings. We saw perfect and Ideal clothes, that we definetely want in our closets and that will set meany trends for the red carpets which are about to come. So, let's start with:

DAY 1

Atelier Versace: A mixture from 50's, 60's and 90's was presented on Donatella's catwalk.We had round-shouldered and boned-waist jackets, lot of dresses with deep cuts -always in this awesome deep purple-blue color- leather and fur. White with silver details and on the other side black with gold! Everything was in perfect harmony with some extreme details to create the absolute look from a different era.
