But let's start with our favourite one of all, New York. This year things will be a little bit different. We decided to create a post every day with all the highlights. This means that the post will have not only a brief presentation of the runways, but there will be beuty trends and of course celebrity scoop fetured as well. We hope that you like our new idea for covering the shows! Stay tuned!
DAY 1
The coats brought by Coach is something that the past 2 years has become an addiction. The mixed materials, the volume and the cool vibes this piece of outwear have is something we want to add to our daily outfits. On the other hand, at Timo Weiland's catwalk those loose total striped outfits challenge us to dare said trend this season.
What I loved from Jonathans' Simkhai fashion show apart from the sleek back effect at the hair, were those amazing details; My favorite of all was this fantastic black dress. BCBG Max Azria presented upraded their character and style this season and we like it. I still cannot understand the over-the-top combinations but they are certainly brilliant. We're in love with the high knee leather boots, the natural makeup combined with the loose hair ponytail.
The last couple years I became a huge fan of Creatures of the Wind. The simplity of their lines and their materials is what won me over. So this season, I loved the gold/silver details at their airy dresses! Honor house this year decided to play with the 70's and won. Simple lines, elegant coats and the most characteristic trends of this decade the hair headbands and the colorful tights. What we loved more are those prints at the coats.
Probably the best scenery for a fashion show. Creatures of Comfort in low lights they showed their creations. What we loved were those oversized grey coats! On the other hand and in the same mood for Marissa Webb's collection: the simple and classics suits couldn't go unnoticed.
Last but not least we have Tome's catwalk. Many celebrities attended the show. What we noticed the most from this amazing runway were these amazing no-sleeves jackets in khaki/military colors and of course the red Sarah Jessica Parker heels!
The other big event of this day was the collaboration of Kanye West X Adidas Original. Many celebrities attended such as Anna Wintour, Rihanna, Alexander Wang, Jay Z and Beyonce and of course the Kardashian-Jenner family. Kylie Jenner was one of the models for the show.
This is the end of the first day. We hope you liked it. Stay tuned because the next FW days are coming on chromantics.blogspot.com
