Michael Kors & Proenza Schouler
After Oscar De La Renta's collection, Michael Kors comes to be my second favorite collection of New York Fashion Week! Tons of coloful flowers in a total white runway created this amazing contrast. High-waisted belted skirts with simple white tshirts, bright yellow jackets, crop tops and always full of flowers dresses. The new Proenza Schouler collection was all about parkas, polos, blouses and pleated skirts. Colorblocked leather, hand-knit polos and laser-cut parkas were the elements that Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez used for their collection.
Anna Sui & Jeremy Scott
Anna's collection came from the 60's. Denim everywhere, space prints, mini printed dresses with flowers, strips and this boho/hippie style and sense. We knew that Jeremy Scott was "crazy". We realized this from his previous collection in Moschino. In New York, he presented his own one and it was full of colors, flowers, prints and logos. Oversized jackets in different colors, psychedelic prints, fur skirts and metallic elements combined in a way that was really feminine.
Betsey Johnson & Boss
Betsey Johnson's collection was weird, crazy and creepy at the same time. See-through dresses, metallic elements, crop tops made of furs, tulle skirts and total plastic dresses. On the other hand Boss' collection was veeery original. Minimal lines which highlighted femininity. Soft, nude colors, V-neck dresses, jackets and lovely shirts apart from a few black outfits.
