Summer Ethnic Style

9:20 PM

We can assure you that summer is coming especially since there's a parade consisted from our fellow fashion bloggers in social media presenting a variety of summer-themed posts. From what we've noticed those same summer posts are mainly inspired by classic ethnic elements. So, we thought that this could be a great opportunity of creating our own post of items of clothing we think are necessary in an ethnic-styled summer wardrobe.

Our inspiration, besides fashion bloggers Poppy Delevingne's second wedding. It took place at Morocco and it was the epitome of ethnic style inspiration. This wedding had everything. Colors, fabrics, crochets, lots of Emilio Pucci dresses and Peter Dundas at his best. So let's start with "The must-haves of Ethnic Style". The key to this style is to be as free as you can; Don't be afraid to wear oversized tunics with strange patterns and colors! Match your outfit with the same style jewels as bracelets and rings!

I will start with my favorite "Must-Have" and that is a Kimono. Dare to wear long kimonos with strange and mixed patterns. This season Kimonos engrosed designers and stores. You can find quite easily a kimono which you can combine with your daily outfits . This piece can lift off every single simple, colorless one of them. I love the ones with the long fringes and the lacey white ones.

Next one are long skirts with jackets. We prefer this outfit for an elegant yet extravagant appearance. Again don't be afraid of the patterns, the colors or the textures! We love total looks. So, if you dare, wear a total red outfit for your evening walk at the beach!

Let's continue with turbans. I am obsessed with them. This trend started a few years ago and we got obsessed with it. We saw it at Marc Jacobs and YSL collections and we are willing copy it for sure. It is a great and settle way of mixing colours and patterns.

There's no ethnic style without the jewels. Wear as much as you can in your hands and your neck in order to stand out. Different rocks, colors, furs, gold, silver everything you can imagine.

Last but not least we have dresses. Valentino is the epitome of ethnic and tribal inspiration. Long, high waisted, monochromes or not, these dresses are a must-must-must-have for the season in your wardrobe. They are classy, summer-y and beloved at the same time. BUT don't combine them with too many jewels. Just some gold or silver ones, just to add a little elegance!

I hope that we helped you with our advices. Write bellow your comments and questions!
