NYFW Highlights: DAY 4

7:58 PM

After a long break, Chromantics team makes a major comeback just in time for one of the most important seasons of the year. As you may have guessed, it's that time of the year again. The one when we all try to catch up with every single show (and sometimes fail miserably). But -as always- somewhere along the way we'll manage once again to bring to you our POV from all our favorite shows, trends and after parties from the first day of NYFW 'till the very last one of Paris Fashion. So, let's dig in the shows of NYFW Day 4. (DAY 1,DAY 2DAY 3

When it comes to the Public School hour it is probably one of the best times of the day for us, NYFW viewers. Minimal, monochrome, androgyne but with the same amazing details as always. The perspective of the femininity is so different when it comes to Public School. Deep V cuts, mini sporty skirts, airy oversized vests and stripped pants are some of the basic details of this collection. The Victoria Beckham fashion show is always a big event for NYFW. This season Victoria presented gingham dresses, deep V cuts, oversized midi skirts combined with shirts, amazing graphic designs and total suede outfits.

Opening Ceremony presented the day to night spring outfits that we love to wear. High waisted pants combined with cropped shirts, midi skirts with deep cuts, sexy and feminine dresses, printed coats. But what we appreciated the most from this collection were the gold or the graphic touches on the clothes as well as the nude pallet. Jenny Packham, as a designer has a certain image of how women love to dress, and that's why this brand has fanatic audience. The collection was all about the dresses. We saw see-through with floral details, total sequined & laced maxi/midi dresses. One thing is for certain Jenny Packham can dress you both for your party and your red carpet look.

Take a moment now because the Prabal Gurung collection will blow your mind. The beggining of the show was special due to it's representation of the Nepal tragedy. When it comes to the outfits, 80's for the designer duo is everything. Amazing airy colorful dresses, see-through shirts and skirts, deep V cuts and amazing silver/gold prints. And we cannot wait for summer to come again so we can get our tans back and wear these amazing pieces! Since we are talking about different decades let's move on to the DVF fashion show. The night belongs to lovers and the 80's belong to Diane. Silk, metallics, leather, see-though and prints, prints, prints were everywhere. The classic woman of DVF brings spring just with her look. Airy maxi dresses and overalls, mini shorts, leather jackets, deep V cuts and see-through shirts with the final touch that were the metallic eyeshadows, transformed the runway into a disco party!

Some African vibes came out at NYFW during the Eduns' show. Zebra sequined prints, oversized sleeves, leather maxi skirts, mini knit dresses, total fringed dresses and oversized flares combined with oversized jackets; those were some of the main points of the collection. Bring the sexy back might be the title of Thakoon's spring-summer collection. From baby blue flowered coats, 'till the most amazing see-through black dresses Thakoon knows how to deal with sexiness. What we really loved were probably those uncomfortable (for us to wear) cuts on the clothes. The real Thakoon woman can wear a loose-pijama outfit and look so sexy like she is wearing one of those total see-through outfits.

We cannot imagine FW without parties and front row presentations...
