DAY 5
Salvatore Ferragamo presented this season a total 70's inspired collection. Knit and wool were the basic materials. Details such as leather, fur and the transparencies created the perfect outfits. Cropped capes, high-waisted trousers, lace dresses, geometrical prints and croco bags and shoes were some of the basic pieces of the collection. What we loved as well, was the simplicity of the makeup and the hair. On the other hand, Marni's collection was more aggressive. Leather, fur, suede and croco details on belts, bags and clothes were presented for the fall. Total printed outfits and mixed materials were the key points of this collection.
The rock girl was presented by Trussardi for fall 2015 and we fell in love with it. Leather maxi coats, jumpsuits, knit dresses and sweaters, furs, metallic and croco details combined, creating an amazing result. What we loved were those total leather outfits and of course the dark glossy lipstick. On a different note, MSGM collection gave us the perfect modern preppy girl look. Mini skirts combined with high-knee suede boots, colorful printed furs, sweaters and oversized coats in bright colors.
Psychedelic prints were everywhere from the mini skirts and the midi coats to the dresses and the cardigans. We loved the contrast of red suede high-knee boots with the grey tights and of corse the classic Missoni print on the pants. It is all about the mamas and the babies. Dolce&Gabbana show was all about the joy of maternity. The classic italian D&G beauty look complemented the pastel dresses with the flowers and the caligraphy drawings on. We loved the metallic and fury details, the sexy transparencies and the classy lace. Even though the show had the classic point -for the D&G duo- of emphasizing female beauty this season they chose to make it all about the mamas and the kids, giving an empowering yet sweet message.
Of course we cannot have fashion shows without an amazing front row. Here we have Giovanna Battaglia with her best friend Anna Dello Russo at the D&G fashion show.
