When I was younger I always believed that this is not a fest for love but a trick for shops & corporations to increase their sales(btw I still believe it but, anyway...). A few years ago during Valentines Day, I had to use the public transportation to go around the city. While I was in the train I saw men holding bouquets of red roses in their hands but importantly I saw this gesture done both by a teenager and a 60-year-old man who were sitting next to me sitting. So, at this train, I changed my whole theory about Valentine's Day. It might be a day for the shoppers but in the end it reminds us that love is important and we have to show it to people who are important to us, no matter how old we are!
