Be Flawless (Summer Edition)

3:53 PM

As the weather gets warmer the makeup turns lighter. The effect has to be flawless and vibrant so the colours must create the effect of a bronze skin or if you're already tanned (we're jealous) bringing it out a little more. :

Let's check out some of our favourite summer products

Garnier BB Cream (SPF 24): it gives the skin a glow and it's quite hydrating. The coverage is quite good for a bb cream but for a better result you should use a light concealer.

Laura Mercier Tinted moisturizer (SPF 20): Great product trully moisturizing and with a really good coverage. It's not heavy (it's not supposed to be) but it gives the skin a nice radiant effect. It's also oil free which means that it sinks better in the skin.

MaxFactor Face Finity All-Day-Flawless 3in1 foundation : I tried it yesterday and it's already my favourite foundation. I know it's supposed to prime and conceal the skin and I'm not quite sure if it does those things (you need to use a concealer afterwards) but it's one of the best light coverage foundations I've tried. It looks  radiant and glowy  and it gives a great effect on the skin. It's much better than many high end foundations (and even some mac ones) I've tried in the past. Warning: It may not look good with flash photography since it has an SPF.

Nars Bronzer (Shade:Laguna): Ok the product itself is great. But the shade is just perfect. It doesn't look orange and it has the perfect amount of brown in it. I think that it's perfect for every skin colour and type as it looks natural and it doesn't have any shimmer.

Maybeline Colour Tattoo Eyestudio: Ok just take a moment to look at the colours. They're so perfect for this time of the year. Also the product is waterproof which means that it doesn't wear off during the day and the fact that they're cream eyeshadows means that they can work as a base and also they 're the perfect product for all the lazy ladies out there who want  a nice look for their eyes in less than 2 minutes.

Maybelline Mascaras: I have absolutely nothing to say about those except the fact that they're amazing. I haven't yet tried the rocket volume and the classic volume ones but from a little research I did they work as nicely as all the others. My absolute favourite ones are the Colossal and the Falsies. I believe that those mascaras are a must-have.

Mac Haute&Naughty Lash: It's the only mascara that can compete with the Maybelline ones. It has two wands (wich basically is one). The pink one works great for length and the purple one for volume. Combined together they give a kind of false-lash effect which I think it's amazing.

Mac Vanilla Pigment: The nicest and most settle pigment ever. It may look scary in the bottle but once you try it you're going to love it. It works amazingly on the browbone, the inner corner of the eyes and the cheekbones. A beautiful multitask highliter

Maybelline Baby Lips: Tinted lip balms which kind of work like a more settle version of a lip gloss. Easy to use, they're perfect for a daytime makeup.

Clinique Chubby Stick intense: I love those because they're the easiect thing to wear. They have a similar effect to the Maybelline baby lips but they might be a little more pigmented and glossy. My favourite summer shade? Plushest Punch of course!

Benefit Coralista Blush: A really beautiful orange peachy shade with settle shimmer all over it. It's the perfect summer blush and I think that it's flattering for every skin colour.

Clinique Blush in Precious Posy 110: A beautiful vibrand shimmery pink colour. The product is really pigmented and it will give you a radiant glowy finish all over your cheeks. It really gives you the option to skip highliter (especially during daytime). The powdery texture if it makes it appropriate for oily skins as well.

Nars Blush in Orgasm: The wildest blush colour ever. Peachy pink with yellow-y toned shimmer all over it.  Nars blushes are quite pigmented so this one looks amazing on the skin. You should also skip the highliter in this one especially if you have an oily skin. Ah! just look how pretty this is!!!

YSL Touche Eclat: Do I need to say much about this product? The nicest high end highliting concealer with the greatest colour variety ever! There's absolutely no chance that you won't find the perfect match for your skin colour. It doesn't crease and it looks great on the eyes and on the cheeks as well (for a nice settle glow, you can also use it on the bridge of your nose). Nice trick: use a small ammount on the lips with a clear lip gloss or lip balm for a nice nude coloured finish.
